This anime is....

Cute...

practically offensively so...

It's by ken akamatsu the authour of such classics as love hina and mahou sensei negima. what he has manage to do is master the art of fanservice. in this case the fanservice takes the form of ultimate cuteness... a certain amount of self referencing jokes are also present including multiple references to love hina including an entire episode set an hinata sou. but mainly he relies on the inherent cuteness of the characters to power the show.

The main characters are shown in the above pic. we have the three main girls, the Pink hair mao the blue haired misora and the black haired sylvia (sylvie).

for me sylvie is the clear winner.. not only is she cute but she also has two of the best things a woman can have, total insanity and a kansai-ben

but that's just me... i have a thing for girls with a kansai-ben and a lose grip on reality.

the basic premise is the girl have to defend japan against really cute aliens who want to steal japanese landmarks..... but yeah it's really not important

watch this show if

A.) you like cute things
B.) you like Ken Akamatsu

it's fun

each episode is only 15 min long... about 12 min if you discount op ed and next ep preview so it's not really long enough to get boring

it's a kinda play one when your bored kinda thing

however i would not be reahing for this first... unless i was doing an akamatsu marathon or summin
