Hey there,

thought this deserves a plug and perhaps some f/blogging on TCBE.

It's a cool concept and the finished product incidentally features tracks by Juxtaposeur and myself.

I haven't listed to all the tunes yet, but it's definitely something different.

Enjoy!

p.s. "army of dreamers" i like that...

you're welcome to stream my contribution from here:

http://www.not-i.com/DJ%20not%20I%20-%20Fool%20of%20Mergen.mp3

the original artist is well worth checking out. He did a whole album of covers in that style (called Re:Covers), including songs by Joy Division, Kraftwerk, Motorhead and Santana.

dig it: Albert Kuvezin & Yat-Kha

yeah, i wasn't sure what you meant, cause that's all i can offer.

you'd have to ask Krazyben, he's the one who put the project together.

the easiest ways to contact him are through GYBO or myspace (http://www.myspace.com/djkrazyben)

oh shit, you're speed posting!

Siberia (Tuva) actually, but they sing like that in Mongolia too.

i double-timed the Lil Jon instrumental for the beats, but left the vox in their original tempo. i was just fooling around, but maybe it's the archaic happy-go-lucky nature of both sources that allows them to mesh like that.

i kept thinking of drunken shamans.
