We've just been to Norabang which is Korean for kareoke, singing rooms korean to english,
We sang deliah , heart of glass, with or without you, 99red balloons and how deep is your love as duets, ninja sang Breaking the law and I sang New years Day and welcome to the jungle single. there were other songs but we had a good time, we basically showed everyone who's ever been on a glastonbury stage up

We went into downtown (in english- town centre) and went to a steakhouse called Outback, an Australian chain. There were quite a few russians there aswell, there's quite alot of Russians in South Korea, in Busan the second largest town in South Korea after Seoul they even have a russian district.
the steak was good, afterwards we went to a norabang again!!! tonight I realised that i am unable to show anyone on a Glastonbury stage up ever as they had the mike up louder than the norabang we went to before. Our last song was Eminem, Stan and i did all the rapping bits in a mock-cockney accent.

can't work out why it hasn't taken off in the UK, there are kareoke nights at pubs and clubs in the UK but how it works in Japan and South Korea is that you go into a singing room place and there are loads of rooms which you go into as a group,couple and then you choose songs from a book and sing them, but you don't have an audience, apart from the people you're with. | ||||||

yes it's a venue in its own right, in each room there is a telly which has all the songs on, and a big book with all the numbers in to program into the kareoke console.
and there's a bar inthe entrance or you can take your own. we went again on sunday after a korean meal. bad hangovers today! |

went out for a meal tonight with a friend from the USA and we both tore apart the terrorist laws,
she said to me that the government in the USA won't rest untill they have the right to look into every personal detail of every USA citizen. she said i should read a book by John Paul the second, which was published after his death and he equates communism with capitalism, and he grew up during the second world war in poland, and he lost his father to the communists so my evening was excellent |
