Derian's experimental shizzle

Today I decided I'd been procrastinating long enough, and that I had to learn the basics of audacity somehow, so that Krzzle can show me the finer points at the weekend.

This isn't a radio show as such, but three short pieces playing around with recording:

I've still got a problem with echo, which isn't too bad when doing speech cos it sounds like yer in the Albert Hall or summat

Krizzle and hiccup just showed me how to get rid of the echo for the (eventual) radio show

Yeah, it is me, but camping up a slight northern accent (which I don't normally have)

Am thinking of finding some Welshy type things to record now, or mebbe I'll have a go at a Toon accent

i had a conversation with someone in london last year and after a while she asked me if i was a northerner

It was a fleeting whim earlier on when you were at work, then I just decided to do it anyway

Mine's subdued RP normally, but it does tend to change depending on the accents of who I'm with at the time. My mum used to give me proper bollockings when I was a kid cos she thought folks would think I was taking the piss, I wasn't though

whaaat that's the kind of accent i want

i think i've lost my accent in swedish. whenever i go back to gburg they ask me where i'm from and people from other cities can't really figure out where i'm from.

It is not true that when my kids are working on there work that I look to see if people have posted in the fish forum and pretend to be doing some important stats or sumthink.

As long as yer not too posh it's kind of non descript and people don't really pay any attention to how you speak and when you end up speaking with a mild form of their accent it's tres cool cos they don't notice

I were born oop north near Manchester but came down south when ah were three. It either got inside my brain like an earworm or I just like all manner of speakingz

I think you could do those monologues MUCH better t'breem, you should give it a go I reckon
