it wasn't just us tho
example: i remember when i was a kid, after a world cup in the playground everyone would be imitating valderramma or romario doing diving headers on the field and trying donkey kicks and stuff. all the kids i teach were imitating zidane and pretending to headbutt each other. course it just takes some magic, but it's kind of been priced out the game

And I reckon the world cup was shit too and had England got to the semis it still would've been shit cos no one really deserved to get there cos it was all shit.
