Make your own pasties innit!
If that Krizzle can do it I'm sure you can.

You could get one of them little wee grill oven things from the shops, cheap as chizzle.

I reckon they could cook pastry, just use a cooked filling.
Andyou can get beef, carrots and onions locally innit.
Oh, I might make a pie over the weekend now a well as pork steaks in creamy apple sauce.

You might find it ready made.
If not it is fairly easy to make.
Get butter and flour.
You want twice the weight of flour to butter so try 100g flour and 50g butter. Add a pinch of salt.Cut the COLD butter into smallish bits. In a bowl, using your fingertips rub the butter into the flour. This is a great excercise for hunky forearms.
Shake the bowl now and again so the unrubbed bits of butter rise to the top and rub them in.
After about 5 minutes the whole lot should look like breadcrumbs.
Add some COLD water but a bit at a time and rub it all together until you have pastry.
You can roll it with a glass beer bottle.

That has to be the clearest, most practical, humourous way I've ever seen pastry making described
My tuppence - pastry likes being cool (a bit like us ) so cool hands and utensils help. Also wrap it in cling film and stick it in the fridge for half an hour before you roll it out innit

When I was a nipper (so last year obviously) I remember Delia going on about how you had to keep pastry cool.
And I though she deliberately spoke in such a cold tone to keep the pastry cooler.
