What happened was, my college has run this X factor type competition and the winner's prize is to sing on the pitch at a Blackpool game - I went along with one of our music teachers who needed to test the radio mic before the game in which the person is actually going to sing. Thus, I walked out onto the pitch and stood there while someone went 'one-two' into the mic and we measured the delay.

Singing isn't happening for another two games - we had to test whether the delay on the mic would be ok for her or not.
