One more question for the geeks, this time about microphonesI want to buy a goodish microphone, and I just wondered if you'd have any suggestions as to what one I should go for. I want it to be usb compatible so I can plug it into my computer - is that possible do you think?
[today is the day where I get stuff done]

your computer has a mic port tho, that would be more simple
brizzle always sends people to maplins for stuff like this, i think it's pretty cheap unless you want a soopa doopa one

word up to maplin's, always cheap stuff around - http://tinyurl.com/o6tvt
i dunno what the advantages of usb would be, really - microphones are all going to be mic level aren't they? in which case the mic socket is perfect...
scott from ramdom thoughts recommended logitech - "not more than £25".
i bought canyon cn-hs1 mic/headphone combo from maplin for £15, they do the job

Good question on the usb one - my mac doesn't seem to have a mic socket - it has a headphones one only. Dunno why they got rid of it.
