Ok, this is my attempt at doing this blog seriously...
I feel ill, I worked for 30 hours over saturday, sunday and monday with pretty much no sleep. I work in the fridge section all day so now I have a sniffley nose, a sore throat and a headache. I just know I'm going to be getting really ill over the next couple of days, its just a matter of waiting for it to happen. My housemates given me some Voltaren tablets though so I'm just sitting at my computer with a cigarette and some Dr Peper feeling all spaced out
I'm too stressed at the moment I think, I've got to write 15,000 words in the next 7 weeks (dissertation and 2 essays) and I've not started writing any of them yet. As well as that, my girlfriends having a few problems at the moment and because it's the end of term this week, she's going back to london for 5 weeks on Saturday. Totally not cool. And I've got to go to a funeral tomorrow for great Aunty Amy Strangely enough though, I'm feeling surprisingly good about things! I've got a good idea in my head of how to plan all my essays, I'm enjoying spending time with my girlfriend, my friends are being wicked at the moment, I enjoy my job and my football team are actually in with a chance of promotion this season! Going to see them in oxford tomorrow night
Well apart from that, there's not too much going on at the moment, apart from waiting for the inevitable onset of illness and the departure of my girlfriend. I might try and write a better blog soon, but this'll have to do for the moment. Need to try and match my lil sis's blog writing skills, especially as I'm supposed to be the one doing an English degree! More later...

Ok, well this week has been totally crap As I said in my last blog entry, I was feeling a bit ill, this has now developed into a full on virus. I've been getting really bad fevers, sweating my tits off one minute, then being absolutely freezing the next, despite all my layers of blankets and duvets. I've had hardly any sleep, due to being ill and I've spent the last 3 days either in bed or on the sofa with my duvet wrapped up round me, doped up on strong painkillers watching the world go by (or the commonwealth games).
Although this was the last week of my girlfriend being here at uni with me, I've only seen her twice, and although I managed to stagger out of bed to visit her yesterday, she had to phone my housemate to come and pick me up I was so ill. So she went back home today, so I won't be seeing her until she comes up to visit (I'm completely broke, so unless I hitch-hike, I won't be able to visit her anytime soon)
Oh yeah, and I've still done no work on any of my essays or dissertation this week cos of being ill, which has totally effed up my planned schedule. And Bristol Rovers have lost their last three games so have blown their chances of going up...
Can life get any worse?

oh yes, and to all you avid blog readers, cos of all my work and illness, I'm not going to be around much on the boards for a while. Especially with my finals in a little over two months :? Therefore, I'll try and pop over to carry out essential board maintenance and to keep this blog updated apart from that though, I'll probably be busy working or attempting to devise ways off seeing my girlfriend just don't panic if I'm not around much

I'm feeling better today thankyou. Poor old strung out has got the sword of Damacles hanging over him though. Nerves and stress can make you feel like crap, either that or it is demonic posession. Hope you feel better soon, or are subject to a sucessful exorcism.

Went to the doctors again today. It appears my flu has developed into tonsillitis  Course of antibiotics for me. Although the doc did say it could be glandular fever. Which would suck.

Right, I've looked up all the symptoms in a big medical book I've got and it appears I've got glandular fever. Going for a blood test tomorrow or friday to confirm it, but if I have got it, that's my finals fucked Oh well... more revision time for me

ok, since i stopped posting this is my life...
January - started new job at different sainsburys, played world of warcraft
February - worked, played world of warcraft
March - worked, played world of warcraft
April - quit my new job, mum got diagnosed with cancer which was pretty shitty, played world of warcraft
May - got really stressed out, mum being ill and other stresses meant i fucked up my uni retakes, gonna leave it for now and come back and finish the final years credits in a few years or something. played world of warcraft
June - mum getting more used to treatment so bit easier, started looking for jobs, played world of warcraft
July - met a new girl, still looking for a job, quit world of warcraft, got my life back... now having fun again
