The Simpsons MovieI reckons:
It's OK - it's not shit, which I was worried it would be, but it's not life changing either, which I suppose it never was going to be. Not bad all in all.
Anyone seen it?

the first half was good, but it wasn't exactly anything new

The simpsons? - Yeah - I thought the first half was much better too. It moved towards the resolution too quickly and didn't really linger long enough on the new life in alaska, so I wasn't that bothered when they left. Mind you, it was for kids so I can't really complain about it not going into enogh detail about stuff.

but the simpsons isn't really for kids, everyone likes it
and i was pissed off that some of the characters didn't get a lookin, most of them only got one line, the captain, comic book guy, the aliens weren't even in it 
they've done the story where homer gets the family thrown out of town about 10 times as well, it was a bit of a disappointing finale to the show imo

I thought they could have done loads more with the contrast between springfield in the dome and the simpsons outside - Like, 10-15 minutes where we see how it's all changing and society breaking down, we could have gone through loads of characters - where the fuck was Snake for example?
I didn't think it was that disapointing if you take away the fact it was the Simpsons - I reckon if I'd just seen it 'from fresh' kind of thing, I'd probably be raving about it, but I agree - it was no where near the standards of some episodes.
