The strokesi'm ashamed to say that when this album was released i didn't have a very good grasp of music history, and was blown away by just how cool the strokes seemed 
it weren't like i was their biggest fan, but i did think when they sung "is this it" that it might very well be it.

i still like the strokes, and they were really good at the time, can't believe it was so long ago.....
they weren't particularly talented (although the singer is fucking great imo) but they made loads of songs which were fun to dance around to
