UNKLE/Zoot Woman/SebastianWent to this gig at Brixton Academy last night.Missed Badly Drawn Boy, but I don't like him much anyway. Caught the last half of Zoot Woman. Preferred them when they were more instrumental and dancey than they seem to be these days. Were alright like, perfectly listenable, but I'm not gonna rush out and buy their album or anything. UNKLE were better than I thought they'd be. When they got into a groove they made a hell of a sound. Ian Brown turned up and actually managed t sing in tune, which was nice. The singer from The Cardigans was there also, as was Richard Ashcroft (I think it was him anyway). After UNKLE, Sebastian and some other bloke played records for an hour or so.
