I've read quite a few reports on this. I think you must be pretty desperate to buy stuff from them, but at least it's giving a load of young people jobs. | ||

i dunno, i bet lots of people would, pay a tenner to avoid all the hours trudging around killing monsters since they are gonna be spending hours on it anyway...... i bet a lot of kids in the west will want to do it once the pay is decent |

as far as the game goes it's a grey area, dunno about in china. i don't imagine it's as bad as working in a textile shop or something. I see koreans who pay to play these games in 12 hour shifts..... |

I'm not sure whether it's legal or not here, but there are plenty of illegal net bars and i'm sure these gold farmers aren't working from a swanky office 
Kids in china play WOW and CS until their fingers bleed. The government are now trying to put timers on all new software that comes out. e.g. if you play for more than 3 hours a day your score gets halved, more than 5 hours and it goes to zero. |

at least gold farming is encouraging people who play the games to go and work or do something else instead of killing pigs in a forest to gain experience. | ||

It is, however it is/will be only implemented on chinese made games which aren't nearly as popular as western ones. |
