Today for breakfast I ate two pitta breads (dipped in hummous), several forkfulls of chilli-pickled beetroot and a pear. Not conventional, but pretty tasty actually.

I was going to have beans on toast, but it seemed like too much effort. I may have the beans for lunch. Perhaps with a fried egg. But that's for another thread.

I had one of them yesterday, but put in bacon, tomato and fried onions. It was lush. I'm all out of bacon now though

I don't recommend it.

That is always a pain. Getting my car done later. Breakfast was a toast fest. Marmite, jam, honey and peanut butter on four slices of vogel (barley & sunflower) bread. With coffee and a smoothie.

What? I can have soup for breakfast if I want. I'm a grown-up.

Exactly. It's got a breakfast ingredient in it, therefore it is breakfast.

I am having a second bowl of soup now because I know I will have to spend all afternoon fending off offers of ham sandwiches from my granddad. He's obsessed with feeding me ham sandwiches.

Went out for a fry-up this morning

Fried eggs x 2
Sausages x 3
Bacon x 2
Tomato x 1
Beans: a ramekin-full
Toast x 1 slice
Hash browns x 2
Tea x 1
Orange juice x 1

Pricey at £8.50, but was tasty enough to be worth it.
