I hope that works cos I had an interesting time trying to get it up (snigger). Either way any other tcte DJs shouldn't be intimidated by my mad skills and should be encouraged to post mixes themselves even if they're not as superb as me. |

i suspect it may need reuploading - it's a .aup file (audacity), but it doesn't have the accompanying _data folder (which contains all the little bits of sound - remember the audacity tutorial thread?)
basically if you have your finished audacity project (say, 'project.aup' plus its friend 'project_data'), to allow other people to listen to it easily (in their regular music player frinstance) you need to export it into an audio file format - aiff or wav, or (if you've installed the little magic encoding thingummy as outlined in the tutorial thread) as mp3 - which is the most universal format. |

nah, you're doing grand - the number of times i threw away a nearly-finished project because it wouldn't open before i realised i'd done something stupid like delete the _data folder, or renamed something manually and so my project file couldn't remember where it had stored the first 20 minutes or summat |

I wish hiccup was here
he told me what to do so it would be an mp3 file but I think I've been a bit rubbish at some (most available) point and I've no real understanding of this sort of thing.
Perhaps I'll sleep on this one.
Mix to follow..........

First post in this thread mentions Ironside's Yardcore mix, but check out this page http://www.mashit.com/djmixes.html for loads of similar mixes.
My personal fave is Aaron Spectre's Bastard mix (it's towards the bottom of the page).
Apologies if I'm stating the feckin obvious.

£50 note cabaret voltaire mix
jeb £50 note is giving the radio show-style podcast a bit of a rest at the moment, and doing more all-music mixes instead... this one's a corker |

30 Minute breaks mix I did a while ago:
http://www.content-type.com/1931661657/30minbreaks.mp3.htm
Mylo – Drop The Pressure (Future Funk Squad 'Drop Da Breaks' Remix)
Aquasky vs Masterblaster – Perception
L.O.B. – Crockett's Theme
Move Ya! & Steve Lavers – Monkey Scratch
Chemical Brothers – Galvanize (White Label Anodize Remix)
The ¡Ya Basta! Crew feat. Subcommandante Marcos – ¡Ya Basta!
Just listened to it and thought it sounded pretty good akchually |

whilst catching up on my podcast backlist i came up with a great little mix:
I'm Bangin' mix by DJ Blaq Starr on Diplo's Mad Decent... it's heavy, weird shizz, apparently it's the sound of baltimore, i'll take his word for it
kinda darker crunk-meets miami bass with that early 90s bumpy house twist and an american grime feel to it |

heh... well i seem to recall coming up against this problem before, he doesn't have a particularly easy-to-stick-with podcast
i *think* if you just click the 'mad decent radio' link up the top, then press the 'subscribe' button it should work... haven't found a straight download button yet though |

| No that doesn't work for me. All seems a bit flakey, I can never be bothered if you can't get a direct download. Much as I'd like to hear this after reading a bit about him recently. |

Shit. I hope it's worth it. What's up with direct download links. I've noticed quite a few podcasts don't give em. Always smells like corporate bullshit when you have to subscribe. And a bit pointless if the subscribe function doesn't actually work.
Maybe they're trying to create a bit of kudos for being a bit exclusive knowing that mugs like me will go to any lengths to get the tunes.
Thanks for uploading, d/l now. |

Technical klutz I like that. Have you heard his Diplo of Hollertronix vs RJD2 mix?
Have you ever tried to get an ITV podcast? Something seriously corporate going on there. But I won't be bending over backwards trying to get theirs. |

Not only is he a technical klutz but that file makes no noise here just a lot of silence. Maybe it's a John Cage cover. So like totally worth it. Like totally.
