oi!!!
where's all them shows?
ninja - very overdue with hideous radio #9
hiccup - show#3?
derian + firky - both owe us their freshman shows
misskitty - missing in boyland
strungout - gorn native in the wilds of the emo desert
mavis - come on, sir!
plus i reckon carmella could be persuaded to join in, and isambard too, and fizzer was keen to give it a go
j & breem have been relative good boys though (not to say that they couldn't keep the ball rolling, mind)

Heh
No, the rubber connection from the washing machine hose to the Ubend has perished. The cupboard was sodden I wrapped some kitchen roll round it and gaffa'd that on but I've just checked now and it's all wet again so I've put a bowl underneath.
My bruv's going to see if he's got any connectors tomorrow. I had to take a pic with a ruler and email it to him. Took a pic but the batteries in my camera ran out so I had to recharge them etc etc
Flood upstairs a couple of weeks ago, now this (((dezza)))

Didn't get my show done. Have hardly been near a computer for a few days. A most curious experience.
Discovered several more boxes of possible material today tho |

right, well i've done about as much as i can stomach for one night, let me know whether you think it looks alright/is legible/etc etc... it's all very arcane, the way podomatic works, so it took a lot of faffing
i shall try and tackle the fonts, and also the 'play' buttons, tomorrow, if i have time. suggestions for font colours? |

I like the yellow. Yellow is good. Only criticism would be that some of the gray text is a bit hard to read on my laptop screen, e.g.:

cool - that's the sort of thing i wanted to check before i did anything more - also needed to check no one was having epileptic fits over the yellow/red combo
my ideas so far are to:
1: change the colour of the links (probably to a different grey rather than a blue)
2: put in a really noticeable 'play' button (probably using red & grey)
3: change the send/comment/permalink text to something stronger (another dark grey i think - or possibly red, i dunno)
4: put in a thicker (red) line to divide the page a bit more clearly
5: change the colour of the text on the right (to what i'm not really sure), and the header backgrounds, and possibly the back of the boxes (to a darker yellow)

| A clearer play button would definitely be good. Maybe also a download button, to make it easier for casual listeners (and for me, cos all podcast software seems to hate my computer). |

oh, and i'm working on putting all the shownotes into a house style, including proper grown up capital letters where appropriate
re house style:
mostly so far it's gone:
<track number> <track name> <artist name+links)
(as above)
but i notice this one of miss kitty's looks quite nice, and it goes
<track number> <artist name+links> <track name>
though one of the issues that might arise is that it might look unwieldy when there are lots of links to get in... |
