It was a shame about the row, but as I said over the road it was pretty inconsequential in the great scheme of things. A bit of a drunken row about nothing.

You know the bit at the end of "Carrie" when you think it's all over and then the hand suddenly bursts out of the ground? That was like William last night. He'd been asked to leave the pub by the owner's son for behaving like a swivel-eyed loon and all was quietly getting back to normal when he burst back in screaming like a banshee; I almost fell off my seat

William says it's the first time he's been asked to leave a pub in 20 years, and I believe him - he's always been mild mannered Clark Kent in the past but he was the Hulk last night - but it's the first time I've ever seen anyone chucked out of the Cobden in 20 years. It's usually anything goes in there so you can imagine the racket he was making to draw attention to himself. Nobody else in the company was spoken to by the bar staff and everything went swimmingly before and after William was there, so make your own minds up about who was behaving menacingly.
