My supervisor took two days off sick this week, knowing I'd be there to cover for her. I'm sick of being taken advantage of. I should just make clear what is and isn't my responsibility but I can't do that because I'd just feel too fucking guilty. I don't know how people can stand around chatting shit and drinking tea knowing there's so much to get done. Anyway, I had no time to study. My last assignment will probably drag my marks down. Which doesn't really matter anymore.

I spent the entirety of Converge's performance last night trying to prevent the tiny little blonde girl in front of me from getting hammered into the stage/monitor and getting crushed into lots of tiny little blonde girl pieces. Did she say "thanks"? Did she fuck.

You make a good point, Ninj. This act of kindness is very out of character. Normally I would have pointed and laughed as she went home in an ambulance but she clearly wasn't there just to scream the singer's name and throw her panties onto the stage so I felt a twinge of responsibility towards my fellow fan in the pit.

The crowd was a strange mix of hardcore kids, metalheads and emo kids. I'm pretty sure I stuck out like a sore thumb, being the only person there who wasn't white and wasn't wearing a shirt/hoody with a band name on it. There were 5 support bands:

We Are Carnivores - emo/noize
Final Fight - old school hardcore/metalcore
Rise & Fall - metalcore
Animosity - death/thrash metal
108 - old school/metalcore

During Animosity, the metalheads pushed to front to throw their long unwashed hair around.
