Why do I care about career prospects? I've only got so much time to spend alive. I spent 12 years being bored at school, 4 years bored at University (so I dropped out) and I'm going to spend the rest of my life bored at work. I might as well do it on my own terms.

It is expensive. Watch that deposit thing and all when you move eventually move out. Best not to pay the last month or so's rent and tell them to use the deposit - that way you won't get ripped off.
