Dear Shippy,

What's a good manga cartoon to watch that has girls n guns? I have seen gun slinger girl and although it is cool it lacks *the* cool.

Thank you

Dear Firkeenkid,

This depends on what kind of guns and girls you want.

gunslinger girls just had that air of all the main characters dying in an ally on a rainy night looking at the stars while the puddle of rain water slowly turns red

you might be intrested in something like bakuretsu tenshi (burst angels) baku-ten has guns girls barly constrained lesbianism and a distinct air of eva-ism ... it also has mecha

however it's also not really that violent and plays a lot of it for laughs... though it does have a kinda downer ending

i'll think some more about this and consult my archive

Dear Shippy,

I read with interest you reply and found myself agreeing with you about Gunslinger Girl. It is for this reason I write to you, Appleseed is too gay but it does have some coolness to it. The thing is I crave violence as much as I crave girls with guns, is there any solution to this problem?

Yours,

Firkeenkid

the new appleseed movie was indeed gay

the lead female had lost her balls compleatly ...

in the original manga she was at least totally hard core and ends up with a cool eyepatch

also ends up far too long and some what naive i felt

plus... although i understood what they wanted to do with the CG i still think it didn't really suit that story

i think when it comes to masamune ... stick with his more..... "other" works

dear shippy

what i really like is stuff that is cool to look at over any sort of plot. what are the best drawn and most beautiful manga which retain the violence and cool weapoonry of the old more comic book stuff?

Dear shippy

2wheeledathiest lubs manga/anime too. You need to lure him to your forum. Plus the eldest 2wa son does anime animation.

Plus you need to put it on the wiki. Plus we need you to do a radio show or several.

When yer ready like

that really depends on what you consider best drawn to be ... and what you think beautiful is

when you have read as much as i have it sometimes sorta blurs into one

cool beutifull fighting though... well the kenshin manga sticks in my head... it's cool and has plenty of sword fighting... plus i like the charactor... the anime is cool too but goes a bit too comic and filler heavy in places... at kinda loses the plot after the kyoto arc

better than asking me recommendations perhaps wait till i post up stuff then ask me more about it

or name particular shows and see what i can match to it

I like dystopian stuff where all the girls have guns and the robots aren't gay.

Problem I have is I download something and take a gamble and it ends up in one of two places: Looks good but is gay, looks aalright but isn't gay.

There has to be one film which is like the modern day akira, hr geiger of girls with guns, robots and violence.

GITS2 is very good though
