(This is kinda fucked up. Sensitive viewers may wish to look away now.)
So, I was throwin a dice. It was a big gamble, so I made it special. I was actually throwin the world’s smallest dice of the largest all-brick structure in Europe- Stockport viaduct. I was hopin for a ‘six’; option six- I kill my father.
It took me days to find where the die had landed, with the aid of a powerful electron microscope. A ‘two.’ Great. I get to tickle him a bit.
It took me ten years to work up the courage to tickle my father. I didn’t speak to him in all that time. Strangely, although also obviously, he was nicer to me during those ten years than at any other time in my life; sending me gifts, long letters, and once, a life-sized clockwork seahorse.
I finally met my dad again at his father’s funeral (an infamous Stalinist.) in the pub, after the wake, I at last plucked up the courage to tickle him. He responded by punching me full in the face.
It was just like the old times.
So now, I have just bought the world’s largest dice off Ebay, and I’m googlin’, “the world’s smallest all-brick structure,” (possibly… a brick.)
Don’t ever think it’s over daddy; you always get another throw of the dice. Let’s roll!
