2097 and tetris. i like the creepy soundtracks on the older res evil games as well.

Castlevania on the Gameboy

The first time I played Mario on the SNES, I thought the way the music went all echoey when Mario went into a cavern was amazing

i just downloaded 1000 mame roms, and the early arcade games have the best sound ever, really chunky and hard, you can tell why they drew kids in, those insane sounds still make me trip out a bit
