That is a wierd old fillum! - Just watched it now - pretty good twisted fairy tale sort of thing. Not yer standard fodder for sure.

Some kid whose parents are junkies and the mum dies, so her and her dad run off to the prairies to live in some deserted house, but he dies too but she pretends he isn't and has adventures with her dolls. The dolls are just heads though, which is quite cool.

It's a Terry Gilliam flim so there's loads of wierd almost Mad Maxish types wandering arround and it's all a bit dreamy and you can't tell if the kid is imagining it or if it's happening and you are seeing it through the kids eyes.

It's pretty good tbh. A bit slow moving from time to time but really good - gonna do a proper review for teh/my blog I think.
