buy this
one of my favourite books
typographically speaking it is like a limp handshake it doesn't do anything to offend or to impress, it has all the strength of conviction of a kitten's timid smile. Nor is it fun or funny, it is annoying. Any notice that has been contructed in comic sans has a stench of childish naivete to it and belittles the message that is being said.

a whole book about fonts??
i think your right because whenever the local church or WI do a coffee morning, the posters are always in comic sans, as if its "wacky" and "fun"
but when i type up my notes, then read through them again, its a lot easier to read. :? |

| I just don't find anything 'comic' about badly formed letters. I think it's fucking stupid and makes the person using said font look like a particularly uncool, bullied child |

Never heard of Stanley Morison? There is a *huge* amount of psychology behind typography.
Bristle-krs will be along soon... |
